Eric Steele Elite Cyclist
"Nate's coaching has had a huge impact on my development as a cyclist. With his help I have jumped from a category 4 cyclist to a category 1 in a couple years. The structure of his training plans are only a part of what Nate has done for me. He constantly gives me advice, and answers my questions. Even if my questions are unrelated to training, he is quick to give me a detailed response. His focus is not just on making my training plan, but on helping me to be a better athlete. He never hesitates to point out my successes or mistakes, and he always helps me learn from them. He is flexible when a training plan needs to be changed, and he is always easy to contact. The time and effort which he has given me truly shows his passion for coaching and overall betterment of the athletes with whom he works.
In September 2014, I competed for the first time at the NCAA Div I Track Cycling National Championships. With little time for specific preparation, Nate created a “crash” program to help me adjust to the unique challenges of the track. I was very pleased with the results – 16th in the individual pursuit and 2nd in the team pursuit. This was the most exciting and intense racing I’ve ever done and, I gotta say, it was a success thanks to Nate!"
